As part of its long-term international growth strategy, the business continues to make significant investments across Europe and is rapidly expanding its logistics infrastructure and operational footprint.Today, the company has established teams across the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European markets, with ongoing expansion plans across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end procurement across warehouse/site, engineering and operational categories, from requirement definition and market analysis through sourcing, commercial evaluation, negotiation, contracting and delivery.Support procurement activities related to warehouse sites and leasing requirements, including market benchmarking, commercial comparison, cost analysis and evaluation of different site options.Support procurement across categories such as engineering services, facilities management, MRO, warehouse equipment, technical services, packaging and operational consumables.Develop and execute sourcing strategies and lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid comparison, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations.Conduct detailed cost analysis, price benchmarking and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluation to assess supplier proposals and identify cost optimisation opportunities.Evaluate commercial proposals based on cost, technical capability, quality, delivery, service levels, operational requirements and potential risks.Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into effective procurement solutions.Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, service providers and other external partners and support contract development and execution.Manage supplier performance and ensure agreed cost, quality, timeline and service requirements are achieved.Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, specification optimisation and procurement process improvement.Develop and maintain a competitive local and regional supplier network to support the continued expansion of the logistics business in Spain.Take ownership of procurement projects in situations where requirements and processes may still be evolving, driving projects through to successful completion.Candidate ProfileSolid experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, ideally within logistics, e-commerce, warehousing, retail, manufacturing, engineering or another operationally complex environment.Experience in one or more relevant areas such as warehouse/site procurement, facilities, engineering services, MRO, warehouse equipment, packaging, operational consumables or other technical/indirect categories.Experience related to warehouse leasing, real estate procurement or site-related commercial evaluation would be advantageous but is not essential.Strong experience in cost analysis, benchmarking, bid comparison, commercial evaluation and supplier negotiation.Demonstrated ability to manage procurement projects end-to-end, from requirement definition and sourcing through negotiation, contracting and implementation.Strong commercial judgement and the ability to evaluate supplier proposals beyond headline pricing.Experience working with Operations, Engineering, Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving international organisation where processes and requirements may continue to develop.Proactive, hands-on and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English; Spanish language capability is highly desirable.
