Senior Procurement Officer

About the RoleIndigatech Group is expanding! We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our steel door manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing steel materials, hardware, and manufacturing consumables, along with proven negotiation and supplier management skills.Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAEKey Responsibilities•    Source and procure steel sheets, frames, hardware, locks, accessories, and consumables•    Develop cost-effective procurement strategies and long-term supplier agreements•    Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with vendors•    Ensure timely material availability to support uninterrupted production•    Monitor steel market trends and manage price fluctuations•    Coordinate with production, quality, finance, and logistics teams•    Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and ERP entries•    Drive cost reduction and supplier performance improvement initiativesQualifications Required·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field·       5–7 years of procurement experience in steel / metal fabrication / manufacturing industry·       Strong knowledge of steel materials and industrial hardware·       Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsValues & attributes ·       Demonstrates integrity by acting ethically and transparently in all procurement activities.·       Takes ownership of responsibilities and delivers results with accountability.·       Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve business goals.·       Focuses on delivering timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.·       Negotiates effectively to achieve the best commercial outcomes.·       Manages priorities effectively and consistently meets deadlines.We are looking for values-led leader, operate with Integrity, result oriented through team work, deliver with commitment, and high standard of quality.
