This role sits within the Procurement & Supply Chain function, supporting the following entities:
- Delight International Facilities Management (DIFM) – a leading provider of integrated hard and soft FM services, including MEP maintenance and technical facilities support, to commercial, residential, and industrial clients across the UAE.
- DeBug Pest Control Services – a trusted provider of pest management and hygiene solutions to commercial, residential, and industrial clients, built on safety, compliance, and consistent service quality.
- Aroma Trading & Oil Field Equipment Est. – a trading and supply entity serving the oil and gas sector, sourcing and distributing oil field equipment, spare parts, and industrial materials to clients across the GCC. Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead sourcing, procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management for materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment supporting maintenance, facilities, and oil field equipment operations. Based across our UAE operations, this role is central to ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, and vendor reliability across DIFM, DeBug and Aroma Trading & Oil Field Equipment Est. The successful candidate will source suppliers and materials both locally and internationally, and will bring strong vendor and subcontractor management, negotiation, and cost control expertise to support continuous cost optimisation across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement – Source and procure materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance, facilities, and oil field equipment operations.Tendering & Negotiation – Plan and lead the bid solicitation process, including issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), managing tendering, negotiating terms, and finalising quotes and contracts with vendors and subcontractors. Subcontractor & Vendor Management – Identify, evaluate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, quality, and compliance against agreed terms and specifications. Cost Control & Budgeting – Drive cost-saving initiatives, conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, track expenses against budgets, and identify optimisation opportunities across covered entities.Inventory & Supply Coordination – Review requisitions, process purchase orders, coordinate with warehouse and stores on inventory control and reordering, and monitor delivery schedules to resolve supply discrepancies.
- Market & Technology Intelligence – Regularly monitor UAE and international market product and technology updates relevant to operational needs, including oil field equipment and materials, and share insights with the operations team. Compliance, Records & Reporting – Ensure procurement activity complies with internal policy and health and safety standards, maintain procurement records and supplier performance data, and support internal audits and reporting. Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, ideally within facilities management, oil field equipment or industrial trading, or related B2B service and supply industries.
- GCC procurement and supply chain market experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of vendor negotiation, tendering, and cost-saving delivery across multiple business units.Key Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management, including formal tendering (RFQ/RFP) processes and international sourcing.
- Strong experience in subcontractor and vendor management, including performance monitoring and compliance.
- Advanced negotiation and commercial contracting skills.
- Working knowledge of cost control methods, including total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and budget tracking.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance materials, MRO items, and oil field equipment, with awareness of relevant UAE market products and technologies.
- Proficiency in procurement or ERP software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of inventory control, material safety standards, and logistics coordination.
