Senior Procurement/Purchase Officer – EPC & Construction

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement & Purchase Officer / Manager with strong experience in EPC, Construction, and preferably Oil & Gas projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement and purchasing cycle, including supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations, purchase orders, subcontractor procurement, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.Key Areas of ResponsibilityManage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for EPC and construction projects.Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and timely project delivery.Source, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.Request and analyse competitive quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.Prepare and process Purchase Orders and procurement-related documentation.Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Estimation, Stores, and Finance Departments.Monitor supplier performance, material delivery schedules, quality, and compliance.Manage vendor relationships and maintain an approved supplier database.Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sources of materials and services.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and approved budgets.What We're Looking ForMinimum 5–8 years of experience in Procurement and Purchasing.EPC and Construction industry experience is mandatory.Experience in Oil & Gas, MEP, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Engineering projects is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of construction and project-related materials, equipment, and services.Proven experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations, and procurement planning.Strong understanding of the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.Experience with ERP and procurement management systems.Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and coordination skills.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Important: Candidates without relevant EPC and Construction Procurement experience will not be considered.
