Role: Senior Procurement SpecialistLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeAvailability: Starting ASAPIndustry: Live Events, Experiential Design and Brand ActivationsAbout the Role:To support the creative and technical development of live events, experiential environments, exhibitions, brand activations and temporary installations.The successful candidate will transform creative briefs and initial concepts into visually compelling, technically feasible and production-ready designs. The role requires a strong combination of creativity, architectural understanding, 3D visualisation and practical knowledge of how event environments are fabricated, installed and delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesReview the Request for Proposal (RFP) to thoroughly understand client requirements and the specific needs of the event.Work closely with the Operations, Production, and Creative departments during the pitch period to ensure alignment of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with RFP specifications and designed files.Manage and provide accurate pricing on a just-in-time basis throughout the pitch period, ensuring timely responses to client inquiries.Collaborate with the Budget team by sharing validated quotes from suppliers, assisting in budget preparation, and ensuring all client-related templates are filled out accurately.Engage in value engineering discussions with the pitch, production, and leadership teams to optimize costs and facilitate budget submission.Monitor expenditures closely to ensure procurement activities remain within budgetary constraints.Issuing project procurement logs to maintain clear records.Direct the Procurement team to create contract documents based on the available scope, including BOQ, preliminary drawings, and outline specifications.Assist with the finance team and Procurement Director to develop and manage the payment plan for projects.Provide on-site support during project delivery, ensuring seamless execution and addressing any issues that arise.Other tasks related to the role as assigned.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalentAt least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain managementPrevious experience from events management industry is highly preferredCertifications such as CPSM, CPPO, or CIPS are highly desirableMandatory RequirementsMust be currently based in the UAEMust have relevant experience in events, exhibitions, activations or experiential marketing industry
