The platform is highly configurable, supporting custom scoring models, tailored candidate journeys, and white-labeled branding for employers.Role Description The Senior Procurement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to support HummingBird’s operations and growth. This role involves handling purchase requisitions and purchase orders, evaluating and selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and reliable supply. The specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, maintain supplier relationships, and monitor performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Daily responsibilities also include conducting market research, analyzing spend and procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. The role requires maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting continuous process improvements, and contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives.QualificationsStrong procurement expertise, including experience in Procurement processes and managing Purchase Orders.Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation, including assessment of quality, reliability, pricing, and risk.Demonstrated ability in Contract Negotiation to secure competitive terms and long-term supplier agreements.Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret procurement data, analyze costs, and support data-driven decisions.Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and optimizing procurement workflows.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems and familiarity with tech or SaaS environments is beneficial.Commitment to ethical, transparent procurement practices and continuous improvement.
