Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole OverviewOur client is a venture-backed, decentralised data infrastructure business operating in the Web3 / data portability space. They are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own product across the full stack - a core Layer 1 protocol, a data portability protocol, the developer/builder experience for third parties building directly on the protocol, and a small suite of commercial products built on top of it (spanning a user-context API, a licensed dataset product, and an agentic services product). You will work directly with the founders, take strategic direction from the executive team, and operate laterally across engineering leadership, external design partners, marketing, and community. This role suits someone with excellent product judgement, serious organisational discipline, and the scrappiness to get their hands dirty. You will be the internal advocate for the product - the person who knows what is shipping, why it matters, and who needs to know about it.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite and maintain PRDs across the protocol and application layers, keeping them current as decisions evolve.Manage the product workflow end to end: prioritisation, planning with the Head of Engineering, tracking progress, and unblocking the team.Own the builder/developer experience with the GTM team - the infrastructure, documentation, and onboarding that let third-party developers build directly on the protocol.Communicate proactively to management - surfacing status, risks, and decisions so executives are never surprised.Translate requirements into shipped products with external design partners, from concept through build to launch.Run handoffs to GTM - briefing marketing and community partners on what is shipping and how to talk about it.Coordinate internal sign-off with finance and legal ahead of launches, keeping approvals from becoming launch blockers.Fill gaps wherever they appear, using AI as a research and productivity tool while applying human judgement on taste, empathy and communication.Ideal Candidate5+ years in product management, including time at senior level; protocol, infrastructure or data-product experience is a strong advantage.Demonstrated product judgement, with shipped products that people actually use.Experience with developer-facing products (SDKs, APIs, docs) or a strong instinct for what makes builders adopt a platform.Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.Strong proactive communicator, with the confidence to hold people and themselves accountable.Comfortable with ambiguity, small teams, and doing the unglamorous work.
