Senior Product Designer

London | Full-time | On-site (5 days per week)We’re working with a fast-growing global technology platform looking to hire a Senior Product Designer into their London team.The company builds a large-scale digital platform used by businesses and consumers around the world, with a growing Product and Design organisation based in London.This role will focus specifically on payments and financial products, designing complex transactional experiences where clarity, accuracy and attention to detail are critical. You’ll be working across interconnected journeys, turning complicated financial processes into simple, intuitive and beautifully crafted product experiences.They’re looking for a mid-to-senior Product Designer who combines strong product thinking with excellent interaction design, systems thinking and a high level of craft. This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who enjoys getting deep into complex flows, understanding how systems work and solving problems with multiple requirements, dependencies and edge cases.Fintech or payments experience would be highly relevant, but isn’t essential. Experience within other complex, transactional or regulated digital products would also translate well.What you’ll be doing:Designing end-to-end experiences across payments and financial productsTurning complex transactional journeys into simple and intuitive user experiencesWorking through detailed flows, states, dependencies and edge casesCollaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers and DesignersExploring and testing different concepts and solutions before arriving at the right outcomeCreating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished UIBalancing customer needs with commercial, technical and regulatory requirementsContributing to scalable design systems and consistency across the wider productParticipating in discovery, research and experimentationUsing customer insights, feedback and data to inform design decisionsWhat they’re looking for:Mid-to-senior level Product Designer with strong end-to-end product design experienceExperience designing complex digital products, workflows or transactional journeysExcellent UX and interaction design skills with strong attention to detailStrong systems thinking and an ability to understand interconnected product experiencesStrong UI and visual craft, with the ability to take work through to polished executionExperience working closely with Product Managers and EngineersComfortable navigating technical constraints, edge cases and detailed requirementsComfortable working in a fast-paced product environmentA portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, attention to detail and high-quality executionPrevious experience within fintech, payments or financial services would be a bonus, but isn’t a requirement. They’re equally open to designers coming from other sophisticated product environments such as marketplaces, travel, insurance, subscriptions or complex SaaS platforms.They’re particularly interested in designers who can demonstrate how they approach complexity, make considered product decisions, work through constraints and edge cases, and turn complicated journeys into simple, high-quality experiences without compromising on craft.Interview Process:Introductory callPortfolio / case study reviewFinal in-person presentation stageSalary:£70,000 to £90,000, depending on experience.
