Senior Product Designer

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support the delivery of high-impact, responsive web experiences for individual investors within a Fortune 500 investment firm. This role requires strong end-to-end product design expertise, the ability to operate independently, and experience working in a compliance-driven environment.The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong ability to advocate for design decisions while collaborating effectively across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Product DesignLead and contribute across the full product design lifecycle: discovery, definition, ideation, prototyping, delivery, and iterationTranslate complex requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutionsDesign for a variety of experiences including onboarding, transactional flows, dashboards, and multi-step user journeysResponsive Web DesignDesign seamless experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile webApply strong understanding of grid systems, layout behavior, and component responsivenessDesign with context in mind—ensuring mobile experiences are purpose-built, not scaled-down versions of desktopData-Informed Decision MakingLeverage qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisionsParticipate in usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable improvementsContinuously incorporate analytics and research throughout the design processStakeholder Collaboration & Design AdvocacyClearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholdersPartner closely with product owners and engineers to align on solutionsProactively identify risks, challenge assumptions, and advocate for user-centered outcomesDocument decisions and maintain transparency across the teamDesign Systems & Execution ExcellenceWork within established design systems, applying components, patterns, and tokens consistentlyIdentify gaps and collaborate on system enhancements when neededMaintain clean, organized Figma files ready for development handoffAutonomy & OwnershipOperate effectively in ambiguous environments, helping shape requirements as neededManage workload independently and communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactivelyBalance speed and quality, knowing when to move forward and when to seek alignmentQualifications6–10+ years of product design experienceProven ability to deliver end-to-end design solutions from concept through launchExperience designing and shipping responsive web applicationsStrong proficiency in Figma and design documentation best practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcareBackground in designing data-heavy interfaces and complex workflowsFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practicesExperience contributing to visual QA and ensuring design fidelity in productionExposure to AI-assisted design workflows to improve efficiency and iterationStrong attention to interaction detail, including micro-interactions and transitions
