You can navigate frontend code and make smaller UI changes, but you are not expected to work as a Frontend EngineerCollaborate through implementation: Work closely with Engineers to understand technical constraints, review implementation in the live product, and adapt solutions without losing user intentAnalyze and improve: Use product data, customer feedback, and recurring support signals to improve both individual workflows and the underlying UX systemWhat you bring with you Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in Product Design, ideally in SaaS B2B environments and preferably with complex or data-heavy workflowsTrack record: Proven experience designing and shipping digital products end-to-end - from discovery and prototyping to live product - supported by strong examples of shipped workProduct and UX expertise: Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, systems thinking, and user experience principles, with the ability to bring clarity to complex or ambiguous problemsSystems mindset: You naturally look for reusable patterns and principles instead of solving every feature as a one-off design problemTechnical fluency: You understand how modern component-based frontend applications are built, can work comfortably with Engineers, and can navigate HTML/CSS and React/TypeScript concepts. Production frontend engineering is not a core requirementAI-first working style: You actively use AI tools for research synthesis, exploration, prototyping, and lightweight coding, and you are interested in changing the product process rather than only making existing design tasks fasterCollaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and domain experts, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical realitiesTools: Strong command of Figma and familiarity with modern collaboration, research, analytics, and AI prototyping toolsLanguage: Native-level German and fluent English skills for effective collaboration across teamsBackground: Degree, vocational training, or bootcamp in a relevant field - your practical experience matters mostWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
