Huru is a licensed financial services provider regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE, focused on smart, secure, and seamless money management. Designed for people living in the UAE and beyond, Huru offers quick account opening, a free digital Visa card, and convenient bill payments and transfers. The platform enables users to access micro finance for emergencies, send money home, and manage UAE transfers with ease. With features like saving pots and intuitive budgeting tools, Huru supports users in building better financial habits. The company is committed to making everyday financial life easier, safer, and smarter for a diverse customer base.Role Overview:Every Huru user — whether it's a construction worker sending money home or an employer paying a hundred staff on time — touches a payment rail at the moment that matters most to them. Aani, Open Finance, and our Payment Gateway aren't back-office plumbing at Huru; they're the raw material for some of the most impactful, front-facing features we can build. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take these rails and turn them into products people actually feel — instant transfers that land in seconds, bill payments that just work, and Open Finance-powered experiences that make Huru smarter about the people it serves. You'll decide not just whether a rail works, but what it becomes in the hands of a blue-collar worker checking their balance on a shared phone, or an HR manager processing payroll on a deadline. This role also includes turning payments into a real revenue line — local and international bill payments and recharges — built for a segment that's rarely offered anything this convenient before.Candidates with hands-on UAE fintech experience (Aani, RPSCS, Open Finance) or India's UPI/BBPS ecosystem are strongly preferred — the rail concepts translate directly, and we want someone who's already seen what "exciting" looks like when a rail becomes a feature people love. What you'll Actually Build:Aani, reimagined as user experienceDesign how instant P2P and P2A payments feel inside the Huru app for retail users — split bills with roommates, pay a shopkeeper, send money to another worker, all settling in real time.On the employer side, explore how Aani can power same-day salary top-ups, urgent vendor payouts, or instant corporate-to-worker disbursements that don't wait for a batch cycle.Own the trade-offs between speed, cost, and reliability — and translate those into UX decisions users never have to think about.Open Finance, as a workflow — not a compliance checkboxPrototype what Open Finance unlocks for a worker with thin credit history: consent-based data sharing that could power faster salary advances, smarter savings nudges, or simpler onboarding. On the employer side, imagine how consented data-sharing could streamline reconciliation, payroll funding checks, or credit decisions for corporate lending.Partner with Compliance to figure out what's possible within UAE's evolving Open Finance framework — and be the person translating "what's regulatorily allowed" into "what's genuinely useful"Bills, recharges & payments as a business you buildOwn the end-to-end experience for local and international bill payments and mobile/data recharges — this segment pays these bills every week; make it the easiest and most trusted way to do it.Build revenue mechanics — auto-pay, reminders, cashback, partner incentives — that turn a one-time payment into a recurring, revenue-generating habit.Source and manage biller/aggregator partnerships that expand what users can pay for, directly inside Huru. The rail underneath it allOwn the Payment Gateway that quietly connects all of the above — retail spend, employer disbursement, bill settlement — making sure it's fast, reliable, and cost-efficient enough to support everything you're building on top of it.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end Aani experience roadmap across both retail and employer surfaces — from network integration through to the feature the user actually taps.Prototype and validate Open Finance-powered use cases (credit, savings, reconciliation, onboarding) ahead of and alongside the UAE's regulatory rollout.Build and own the bill-payment/recharge business line — partner sourcing, pricing, and the engagement mechanics that drive repeat revenue.Own the underlying Payment Gateway relationship — uptime, cost, and reliability — as the infrastructure your front-facing features depend on.Define and track the KPIs that matter for both sides of this role: feature adoption and repeat usage on the front end; transaction success rate, cost per transaction, and rail uptime on the back end.Partner with Legal/Compliance to stay within CBUAE's RPSCS and SVF frameworks while pushing what's possible for users.Work with the Retail and B2B Product Leads to sequence which user-facing rail features ship first, given shared engineering capacity.Requirements5+ years in Product Management, ideally with experience shipping user-facing features built on a payment rail, PG, or UPI-equivalent system — not just maintaining the rail itself.UAE fintech experience strongly preferred — Aani, RPSCS, or UAE Open Finance exposure is a real advantage; India's UPI/BBPS ecosystem experience is equally relevant given the structural overlap.A track record of turning infrastructure into a feature users notice — you can point to something you built that people actually talked about, not just a rail that worked.Experience building a bill-payment or recharge line as a revenue driver.Comfortable moving between two altitudes in the same week — a rail reliability conversation with engineering, and a UX conversation about how a payment confirmation screen should feel.Data-driven and curious about people: you're as interested in why a worker checks their balance five times a day as you are in the transaction success rate behind it.
