Developers, testers, and DevOps engineers use it to run and orchestrate tests — any tool, any environment — from a single control plane. It's open-core, genuinely loved by the engineers who use it day-to-day, and gaining serious traction with large enterprise customers as testing becomes even more critical in an AI-driven software world. The OpportunityThis is a rare chance to build a product function from the ground up. Today, the company's CTO is personally running product. He's ready to hand over the entire function — but he's explicit that he's not looking for someone who practices "the art of PM" in a textbook, process-heavy sense. He wants someone practical, hands-on, and commercially minded who can make the role their own from day one. You'll be working directly with customers, running competitor analysis, and constantly asking: what can we do right now to grow adoption? This is a role for someone who wants to shape a product function rather than inherit an existing one. What You'll DoTake full ownership of the product function from the CTO, building process and structure as needed rather than following an existing playbookWork directly with customers to understand needs, pain points, and buying behavior across developer, tester, and DevOps audiencesConduct ongoing competitor analysis and translate it into practical product decisionsIdentify and drive initiatives to grow adoption and engagement, especially among enterprise IT customersAct as the connective tissue between engineering, go-to-market, and customer-facing teamsBring energy, curiosity, and technical credibility to a fast-moving, technical organisationWhat We're Looking ForSubject matter expertise in the software tooling space — a genuine understanding of how developers, testers, and DevOps engineers work and make buying decisionsStartup experience — strongly preferred. Full company details will be shared with candidates who progress in the process.
