01  ABOUT NAVLOGIC AINavLogic AI was founded by supply-chain and freight-forwarding industry veterans who have spent decades operating global logistics businesses. We are building an AI-native operating platform for freight forwarders and NVOCCs—one that turns fragmented emails, documents, data entry, task follow-up, exception handling, customer communication, and billing handoffs into workflows that are automated where safe, reviewed by people where necessary, and fully traceable. Our initial product focus is U.S. ocean import, with expansion into ocean export, air freight, trucking, warehousing, commercial growth, and finance workflows. We combine deep logistics expertise with large language models, document intelligence, workflow automation, and enterprise software to make freight operations faster, more accurate, and more scalable.02  THE OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the translation of complex freight-forwarding operations into reliable AI products. This is not a feature-intake or demo-building role. You will identify the highest-value operating problems, redesign the underlying workflow, decide where rules, conventional software, or AI should be used, and drive the product from discovery through production adoption. You will work closely with freight operators, customers, design, engineering, and AI teams. Success will be measured by business outcomes: fewer manual touches, shorter shipment-handling time, higher accuracy, earlier exception detection, lower leakage and avoidable charges, sustained user adoption, and repeatable customer deployment.03  WHAT YOU WILL DO•  Freight Workflow Discovery & Redesign  Deeply study end-to-end freight workflows, initially U.S. ocean import—pre-alerts, MBL/HBL and arrival notices, shipment creation, availability/LFD, customs and release status, pickup and delivery coordination, exceptions, customer updates, and billing handoffs. Map roles, documents, data, decisions, risks, and failure points; redesign rather than merely digitize inefficient processes.•  Product Strategy & Prioritization  Define target users, problem statements, value propositions, capability maps, MVPs, and quarterly roadmaps. Prioritize with explicit trade-offs across frequency, customer value, automation feasibility, operational risk, implementation effort, and reusability. Balance design-partner needs with a scalable standard product.•  AI Agent & Workflow Design  Translate business processes into executable product logic using deterministic rules, structured workflows, single-agent or multi-agent patterns as appropriate. Design intent handling, task decomposition, tool/API calls, RAG and knowledge use, state/context/memory, structured outputs, role-based actions, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.•  Reliability, Controls & Auditability  Build production safeguards for model uncertainty, including input/output schemas, mandatory-field checks, multi-source conflict resolution, confidence thresholds, approvals, retries, timeouts, fallback and recovery, idempotency, permissions, evidence citations, action logs, and audit trails. Know when a task should not be automated.•  End-to-End Product Delivery  Produce clear PRDs, process and state diagrams, data definitions, role/permission models, prototypes, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Own backlog and release decisions; partner with design, engineering, AI, data, and implementation teams through technical review, QA, pilot, launch, and post-launch iteration.•  Evaluation & Business Metrics  Build representative test sets, edge cases, regression suites, and online monitoring. Track task completion, extraction and decision accuracy, tool-call success, exception precision/recall, human-edit and takeover rates, latency and cost—as well as automation rate, manual touches, cycle time, adoption, productivity, loss prevention, and customer ROI.•  Customer Validation & Commercialization  Interview operators and customers, observe real work, recruit and manage design partners, define pilot success criteria, support onboarding and training, and convert feedback into reusable product capabilities. Partner with Sales and Customer Success on demos, value narratives, ROI cases, pilot-to-paid conversion, and expansion.•  Frontier-to-Product & Competitive Research  Track freight technology, enterprise AI, agents, multimodal/document intelligence, and workflow automation. Rapidly prototype what can create operating value; discard what is not reliable, economical, or suitable for the current stage. Study competitors without copying them.04  WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR•  6+ years of B2B, enterprise-software, or complex-workflow product management; exceptional candidates with 5+ years and unusually strong outcomes will be considered.•  Proven end-to-end ownership of at least one product or major product domain—from discovery and prioritization through production launch, adoption, and measurable business impact.•  One of these backgrounds: (a) freight-forwarding, logistics SaaS, TMS/FMS, supply-chain, or operational-software product experience with meaningful AI exposure; or (b) production enterprise-AI/workflow product experience in a complex operating domain, with demonstrated ability to build freight fluency quickly.•  Hands-on experience shipping at least one LLM, AI agent, document-intelligence, or intelligent-workflow product into production—not only a prototype or prompt experiment.•  Sound understanding of LLM limitations and mechanisms such as tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, state/context management, human approvals, evals, monitoring, and fallback; able to choose rules or conventional software when they are better.•  Strong product craft: problem framing, workflow and state modeling, PRDs, prototypes, acceptance criteria, prioritization, release management, and post-launch iteration.•  Data fluency: able to define metrics and data contracts, investigate product behavior, and make decisions using evidence; SQL or BI proficiency is preferred.•  Excellent cross-functional communication, structured writing, and ownership in an early-stage environment with ambiguity and limited resources.•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrable experience. Able to read English product, AI, and freight materials and participate in basic English product or customer discussions.Preferred / Nice-to-Have•  Deep knowledge of U.S. ocean import, NVOCC, customs, trucking, warehousing, or freight exception management.•  Experience with FMS; familiarity with API, EDI, webhooks, and third-party integrations.•  Knowledge of customs, manifests, trade compliance, or operational data governance.•  Experience prototyping with Dify, LangGraph, CrewAI, n8n, or similar tools—while understanding that framework familiarity is not a substitute for product judgment.•  Startup or 0-to-1 product experience.05  THE AI-NATIVE PRODUCT EXPECTATIONAt NavLogic AI, “AI-native product management” means reliable execution—not more AI jargon.▸  Start with a measurable operating problem, not an agent architecture.▸  Deliberately choose among rules, workflow automation, a single agent, or multiple agents.▸  Every material action needs evidence, validation, approval, or a safe rollback path.▸  Ship with evals, telemetry, cost awareness, and user-adoption metrics from day one.▸  Turn customer-specific needs into reusable product primitives—and say no when necessary.06  WHAT WE OFFER•  Competitive Package  Base salary + performance bonus + equity, commensurate with experience and impact.•  Founding Product Ownership  Shape the product discipline, operating model, roadmap, and culture as an early product leader.•  Real-World Access  Work directly with freight operators, customers, and live workflows rather than abstract use cases.•  AI-Native Environment  Modern AI tooling, rapid prototyping, and a culture that values evidence over hype.•  Global Collaboration  Partner with teams and customers across China and the United States.•  Learning & Growth  Significant scope, direct feedback, and the opportunity to grow with the company as products and markets expand.07  HOW TO APPLYWe review applications on a rolling basis. To stand out, include a short note (3–5 sentences) on a B2B or AI product you personally helped ship: the problem, your role and key decision, the measurable result, and one thing that surprised you in production.Applications without this note are still welcome; it simply helps us move faster.Apply at:  talent@navlogic.ai   |   Subject: Senior PM – [Your Name]NavLogic AI is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and non-traditional career paths who can demonstrate the judgment, craft, and operating impact required for this role.
