Its mission is to make the development process dramatically more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable — applying cutting-edge AI to an industry where fragmented data, complex regulation, and manual workflows still create enormous friction. With early products now in the hands of customers across both the public and private sectors, the company is entering an important phase of product development and commercial growth. The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of complex, zero-to-one product initiatives at the intersection of AI, real estate, design, and regulation. This is not a maintenance PM role. You’ll work directly with the executive team, engineers, research scientists, and domain experts to turn ambitious product concepts into products customers can use today — while helping shape what the platform becomes over the next several years.Initial customer groups include real estate developers and municipalities, with significant scope to expand into architects, financial institutions, and other stakeholders across the development lifecycle. The product itself is highly complex and increasingly AI-native. You’ll help evolve workflows from rigid, linear experiences into intelligent, context-aware systems that understand where users are in their journey and surface the right capabilities at the right time. There is a substantial amount already underway — customer feedback, prototypes, PRDs, early releases, and paying deployments — but plenty of blank canvas remains. What You’ll DoOwn the strategy and roadmap for one or more major product workstreams, from early discovery through launch and iteration.Lead zero-to-one product development across complex, technically challenging problem spaces.Work closely with customers including real estate developers, municipalities, regulators, and other industry stakeholders.Turn qualitative customer insight and market feedback into clear product priorities, requirements, and PRDs.Partner closely with engineering and AI research teams to translate ambitious technical capabilities into intuitive customer experiences.Help design increasingly intelligent, non-linear workflows powered by modern AI and LLM capabilities.Identify pragmatic product opportunities — including integrations, data access, and workflow improvements — that help customers realize value while more advanced technology is being developed.Establish a clear source of truth around what is live, what is being built, and what can credibly be delivered to customers.Validate new product concepts through customer discovery, prototypes, pilots, and commercial conversations.Partner with GTM teams on packaging, customer value, segmentation, and pricing.Define KPIs across product usage, efficiency, operational impact, and commercial performance.Introduce the product-management rigor, processes, and communication structures needed to support the organization as it scales. What You’ll BringStrong product-management experience building and shipping sophisticated technology products.Evidence of taking products, major features, or workstreams from zero to one.A track record of solving unusually complex or ambiguous problems where no obvious playbook existed.Excellent product judgment and the ability to balance long-term product ambition with what customers need today.Strong customer instincts and the ability to uncover the underlying problem behind customer requests.Enough technical depth to work credibly with highly technical engineers and research scientists.Experience writing detailed product requirements and discussing areas such as data models, APIs, infrastructure constraints, and AI system inputs and outputs.Genuine curiosity about modern AI. Formal AI product experience is valuable, but hands-on experimentation, side projects, or evidence that you actively explore new AI capabilities can be just as compelling.Comfort operating in an early-stage environment where priorities evolve quickly and individual ownership is high.Excellent written and verbal communication across technical, commercial, and executive audiences. The ambition and intellectual curiosity to go outside your existing area of expertise, learn quickly, and solve difficult problems.Experience in real estate development, AEC, architecture, construction, planning, or adjacent industries is valuable but not essential. The team would rather hire an outstanding PM who is excited to learn the domain than compromise on product quality for industry experience.Tech StackYou won’t be expected to code day-to-day, but you should be comfortable operating close to deeply technical teams. The product environment includes:Large language models and modern AI systemsAI-powered, context-aware product workflowsData schemas, APIs, and third-party integrationsMapping, property, and real estate data ecosystemsComplex regulatory and development datasetsBIM and design ecosystems such as Revit and RhinoWhy Join? This is an opportunity to work on a category-defining product at an unusually early stage. The platform is already reaching real customers, but many of its most important product decisions are still ahead. You’ll have genuine influence over the roadmap, customer experience, product operating model, and ultimately how an entire industry adopts AI.You’ll work directly with an experienced leadership team while partnering with engineers and scientists tackling technically difficult problems that have not been solved before. The scope is broad by design. Today that might mean improving a municipality-facing workflow or helping a developer understand how best to use a piece of land. Tomorrow it could mean integrations, intelligent planning systems, design tooling, financial workflows, or entirely new product categories. For a PM who enjoys difficult problems, high ownership, emerging technology, and building from first principles, there is significant room to make an impact.Benefits include:$200,000–$350,000 base salary, depending on experience and locationMeaningful equityMedical, dental, and vision plan options401(k) with 4% company matchUnlimited PTOTwo annual company-wide closure weeks12 weeks of fully paid parental leaveHome-office setup supportCell-phone stipendTwice-yearly team offsitesAbout People In AIPeople In AI is a specialist talent partner connecting exceptional AI, machine learning, data, and technology professionals with some of the most ambitious companies building the future of artificial intelligence. We work closely with founders and technical leaders to understand the real problems behind each hire, giving candidates a transparent view of the opportunity, team, and impact they can have.
