Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to lead product marketing for an assigned set of product categories. This role writes the copy that brings those products to market, carrying their positioning through every channel, and raising the quality of the work across a growing team. This role writes, and it also sets the standard: you will be the first reviewer on product pages and the person who turns recurring feedback into a documented rule inside the team. Essential Responsibilities: Category Ownership Lead product marketing for an assigned set of categories, developing deep knowledge of those products, their customers, and their competitive set. Own the product information handoff from Product Development, confirming that specifications, claims and proof points arrive complete, and returning incomplete submissions rather than filling the gaps with assumptions. Confirm that every testable claim on assigned products is approved, substantiated and logged in the claims registry before it is published. Writing and quality Write Product Detail Page copy and install it into Figma wireframes with visual direction. Review product page drafts from other team members, giving written feedback against a documented standard and escalating judgment calls to the Senior Branding Manager. Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all touchpoints. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity and quality. Use performance data and customer feedback to optimize copy for engagement and conversion. Launch support Contribute to launch briefs by gathering inputs — product specifications, voice-of-customer research, competitor analysis and substantiated claims — and drafting sections for review. Bring naming and site placement recommendations into the brief, including shopping feed product type, where the product sits in navigation and collections, and which existing product pages it should attach to. Coordinate with Product Development, Creative, UI/UX and E-commerce to resolve open product questions and keep launches on schedule. Support product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns, including peak-season workload across categories outside your own. General Assist the Branding Team with tasks from the managing Partners. Comply with Company policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent experience required. 3+ years of product marketing, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer content experience required. Demonstrated experience writing product pages or product content at volume for a consumer brand. Experience using marketing tools like Figma, Google Workspace, project management software, and AI writing tools such as Claude or ChatGPT. Familiarity with Shopify and customer review or support platforms (Yotpo, Gorgias) is a plus. Copywriting: You know how to convey ideas in a concise, evocative way. Product marketing: You can read a specification sheet and customer reviews and work out what matters to a buyer. Editorial judgment: You can give another writer clear, written feedback that distinguishes a factual error from a matter of preference. Marketing strategy: You understand the underlying marketing reasons behind what you do. Project coordination: You can hold a launch to a dated process, chase the inputs you need from people who do not report to you, and say early when something will be late. Accuracy: You are careful with claims, specifications, and numbers, and you ask rather than assume. Resourcefulness: You can solve problems using available resources. Collaboration: You are a team player who is respectful, helpful, and kind to others. Preferred: Experience in home, garden, outdoor living, or other considered-purchase consumer categories. Experience working alongside product development or engineering teams. Experience contributing to a style guide, messaging framework, or review standard. Physical Demands: This position involves working both indoors at a desk and outdoors in a farm setting. Must be able to operate a computer for prolonged periods with moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, moving objects, reaching and crouching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Exposure to outdoor environments including hot and cold temperatures and humidity. Job Location and Work Schedule: This is a full-time position based out of our two locations listed below.
