About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Product Owner with deep expertise in web-based enterprise applications, specifically Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Practice Management Systems (PMS), Insurance Management, Payer Management, and Clearinghouse integrations. In this role, you will own the end-to-end experience of our Revenue Cycle platform—from roadmap through execution—ensuring it is seamless, reliable, and optimized for both operational efficiency and financial performance.You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, revenue cycle operations, compliance, and support teams to deliver features that improve the complete revenue cycle—from patient registration and insurance configuration through eligibility, prior authorization, charge capture, claims processing, payment posting, denial management, patient billing, and accounts receivable. If you are passionate about building systems that maximize reimbursement, simplify complex revenue cycle workflows, and improve operational efficiency at scale—and can translate complexity into clarity—we’d love to talk.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the product roadmap for the Revenue Cycle Management platform.Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional execution with Engineering and Design.Translate regulatory, payer, operational, and business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements.Partner with revenue cycle and operations teams to streamline end-to-end revenue cycle workflows (e.g., patient registration, insurance and payer management, eligibility verification, prior authorization, fee schedules, charge capture, claims processing, payment posting, denial management, patient billing, and accounts receivable).Ensure usability and accessibility of the platform across different user roles (front office staff, billers, coders, payment posters, denial specialists, practice managers, and revenue cycle teams).Monitor product performance, user behavior, and pain points using tools like Mixpanel, GA, Looker, and user feedback sessions.Prioritize enhancements that improve reimbursement, reduce denials, increase automation, optimize collections, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements).Champion a user-centered approach through feedback loops, usability testing, and journey mapping.Drive product readiness for payer updates, regulatory changes, reimbursement models, and evolving healthcare standards.Serve as the voice of the Revenue Cycle platform internally, sharing best practices and staying informed on healthcare revenue cycle and health tech trends. Requirements7+ years of product experience, with a strong track record managing B2B SaaS or healthcare platforms (preferably Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Practice Management Systems (PMS), Medical Billing, or Clearinghouse platforms) at scale.Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, including insurance and payer management, fee schedules, patient responsibility, claims lifecycle, payment processing, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.Experience gathering requirements from cross-functional teams and translating them into detailed product specs.Familiarity with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Looker, GA4, or similar.Proficient in agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Notion, or Asana.Highly organized with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Able to navigate complexity and drive clarity and alignment across business and technical teams.Experience in a high-growth Health Tech company or with enterprise-grade Revenue Cycle Management products.Exposure to healthcare standards and APIs (HL7, FHIR, CCDA, X12), including healthcare transactions such as 270/271, 276/277, 277CA, 278, 835, and 837.Understanding of clearinghouse integrations, payer workflows, denial management, ERA processing, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle reporting.Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Revenue Cycle Operations, and Customer Success.Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Miro for workflow visualization and prototyping.So—what do you think?
