This role ensures efficient execution of production activities, achievement of manufacturing targets, and continuous improvement of processes to maximize productivity, quality, and safety. The Senior Production Engineer works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Project teams to ensure seamless production of modular units while maintaining DuPod's high standards of operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.Plan, monitor, and optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure smooth production execution.Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Develop and monitor production KPIs, including productivity, cycle time, quality, and resource utilization.Support production planning activities, including manpower allocation, capacity planning, and workflow management.Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.Collaborate with Maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and reliably.Review production drawings, manufacturing specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution.Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable solutions.Mentor and support production engineers, supervisors, and shop floor personnel to enhance performance and technical capabilities.Prepare regular production reports and provide recommendations to management for process improvements and cost optimization.Support factory expansion initiatives, automation projects, and manufacturing innovation programs.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or industrial operations.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior engineering or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Experience in modular construction, construction products manufacturing, prefabrication, industrial production, automotive, or FMCG manufacturing is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, capacity management, and manufacturing operations.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.Strong understanding of quality management systems and production performance measurement.Ability to analyze technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and process flows.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.Core CompetenciesProduction Management: Strong capability in planning, controlling, and optimizing manufacturing operations.Continuous Improvement: Proven ability to drive efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction initiatives.Leadership: Capability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional manufacturing activities.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.Data Analysis: Skilled in production reporting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.Quality Focus: Commitment to maintaining high manufacturing and quality standards.Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety practices within a manufacturing environment.What makes a true AMANAian?We know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company, partners and clients forward.
