LearningShala focuses on empowering students across India to make confident, informed decisions that lead to meaningful careers.Role Description The Senior Program Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the process of selecting and enrolling in appropriate online degree and certification programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed counseling sessions, assessing student profiles and aspirations, and recommending suitable universities and programs aligned with their goals. The role involves explaining program features, admission processes, and eligibility criteria, while maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in internal systems. The Senior Program Advisor will collaborate with mentors and other team members to refine counseling frameworks, support outreach initiatives, and provide feedback on student needs and market trends. The advisor will also help streamline processes that improve conversion, student satisfaction, and overall program experience.Qualifications Strong student counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess educational background, career aspirations, and program fit.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct clear, empathetic, and structured 1:1 guidance sessions.Experience with educational programs, admissions processes, or career guidance in higher education or EdTech environments.Proficiency in using digital tools and CRM or student management systems to track leads, follow-ups, and counseling outcomes.Analytical and research skills to compare universities and programs on multiple parameters and present data-backed recommendations.Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage a high volume of inquiries, and prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, management, psychology, counseling, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling are a plus.Prior experience in a senior advisory, mentorship, or team lead role is preferred, along with a strong commitment to learner-centric, non-biased guidance.
