Senior Program Manager

Redmoor Health | Up to £50,000 per year, depending on experienceFull-time, permanent | Hybrid working with national travel as requiredWe’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager who can take ownership of complex programmes, build trusted relationships with senior clients and turn agreed objectives into well-managed delivery.About the role You will oversee multiple programmes, taking responsibility for planning, delivery, budgets, resources and outcomes. You will work closely with NHS partners and colleagues across Redmoor to establish what each programme needs to achieve, coordinate the right expertise and keep delivery on track.Our work includes digital adoption, access improvement, workflow redesign and wider transformation in primary care. You will need to understand the pressures facing NHS teams and translate programme ambitions into improvements that work in practice.This is a hands-on delivery role with substantial autonomy. You will be comfortable resolving difficult issues, managing competing priorities and providing clear advice to clients and colleagues.Salary upto £50k per year dependent on experience.What you’ll doLead complex programmes from initial scoping and mobilisation through to delivery, evaluation and handover.Agree clear objectives, deliverables, milestones and measures of success with clients.Develop and maintain programme plans, budgets and resource requirements, ensuring delivery stays within agreed scope.Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, identifying dependencies and resolving resource conflicts.Build strong relationships with senior NHS stakeholders, leading programme reviews and supporting decisions.Anticipate risks and address delivery issues, escalating concerns with clear recommendations where needed.Monitor programme spend and delivery against commitments, managing proposed changes to scope, timescales or resources.Produce and quality assure reports, presentations and programme documentation for clients and Redmoor’s management team.Use data and feedback to demonstrate outcomes, identify lessons and improve delivery.Support colleagues with programme management advice and contribute to consistent standards across the team.Represent Redmoor at client meetings, workshops and relevant events.What we’re looking for:EssentialA strong track record of independently managing complex projects or programmes through the full delivery lifecycle.Experience delivering change within healthcare or social care, with an understanding of NHS working environments.Experience managing budgets, resources, risks and competing delivery priorities.Confidence working with senior stakeholders, managing expectations and constructively challenging when required.The ability to turn broad objectives into clear plans and measurable outcomes.Strong written communication, including experience producing reports and presentations for different audiences.The ability to interpret data and use evidence to guide decisions and demonstrate results.A practical, organised approach and the confidence to take ownership when circumstances change.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and programme management tools.Willingness and ability to travel nationally when required.DesirableExperience working with general practice, Primary Care Networks, federations or Integrated Care Boards.Experience of digital transformation, service improvement or technology adoption in healthcare.Familiarity with primary care digital systems and the operational challenges facing GP practices.A recognised project or programme management qualification, such as PRINCE2, MSP or APM.Experience coaching colleagues or improving programme management processes.Why join Redmoor?You will lead varied programmes with a direct connection to the challenges facing NHS services.
