Senior Project Accountant

Project Accountant - Up to $95kOur client, a well established government contractor, is hiring a Project Accountant to join its growing finance team. This individual will manage the financial administration of multiple projects from initial setup through completion while partnering closely with Project Management, Operations, Contracts, and Finance. ***100% OnsiteResponsibilities:Manage project setup, maintenance, funding changes, and contract modificationsTrack project budgets, actuals, remaining funding, margins, and profitabilitySupport billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, WIP, accrued/unbilled revenue, and reconciliationsPartner with Project Managers on labor, expenses, forecasts, and project financial performanceSupport EAC/ETC analysis and project forecastingAssist with month-end close and project-related journal entriesHelp improve project accounting processes and proceduresQualifications:5–7+ years of project accounting or project finance experienceExperience managing multiple complex, larger-dollar and/or long-duration projectsStrong understanding of project billing, revenue recognition, WIP, and profitabilityGovernment contracting, DCAA, and/or FAR experience is a plusCompensation & Benefits:$75K–$95K+, with flexibility for the right candidateHealth, dental & vision insurance401(k) with 4% match and immediate vestingUnlimited PTOProfit sharingContinuing education allowance
