This is a great opportunity for a construction/project cost accountant who enjoys varied responsibilities and wants to be part of a growing U.S. business.RESPONSIBILITIES – Senior Project Accountant Manage business unit accounting and month-end closePrepare and analyze WIP, project costs, accruals and financial resultsSupport budgeting, forecasting and financial reportingPrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsAnalyze financial statements, cash flow and capital expendituresSupport audits, tax, treasury and internal controlsResearch and apply IFRS accounting standardsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and greater efficiencyPartner with operations, corporate accounting and senior leadership on financial mattersREQUIREMENTS – Senior Project Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field4+ years of accounting experienceConstruction/project/cost accounting experience requiredStrong WIP reporting experienceSystem-savvy and comfortable learning new accounting/ERP systems
