Senior Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer (Senior or Principal Level)Location: Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West VirginiaHours: 40 hours/weekTravel: Approximately 20% during project construction phases. Travel may include overnight stays and visits Salary: $40-$75/h (Open based on experience and level)Must HavesBachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (per level requirements)Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to drive technical conversations and lead meetingsExperience coordinating engineering activities across multiple stakeholdersExperience supporting projects through conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioningExperience leading engineering design reviews and managing RFIsExperience developing and managing Engineering Work PlansExperience coordinating work between engineering teams, contractors, OEMs, consultants, and project stakeholdersStrong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilityDay to DayServe as Engineering Lead for generation capital projectsDevelop and maintain Engineering Work PlansLead engineering design reviews and manage RFIsCoordinate engineering efforts between, developers, A/E firms, OEMs, EPC contractors, and regulatory agenciesSchedule and facilitate engineering meetingsProvide engineering progress updates to project teams and stakeholdersSupport procurement activitiesSupport construction and commissioning activitiesCoordinate issue resolution among engineering disciplinesManage technical interfaces across internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate project closeout activitiesTravel to generation facilities and project sites as needed
