“Drydocks World is expanding to Serbia!We are establishing a new Engineering Project Support Centre in Belgrade, creating exciting opportunities for talented Serbian engineers to contribute to major global EPC, FPSO, Offshore Oil & Gas, and HVDC projects.If you are interested in working on world-class projects while helping build a new engineering hub from the ground up, we would love to hear from you.”Employment Type: Full TimeWorkplace Type: On-SiteJob Purpose:Responsible for the overall engineering activities of major oil and gas projects which include planning, control and monitoring of design and execution of new buildings and other specialized projects and responsible for drafting, further detailing and calculating execution methods to prepare engineering works.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of major EPC oil & gas projects.Preparation and submission of engineering design, method statements and specific procedures in line with client requirements.Preparation and submission of the As-built drawings and data in accordance with contract requirements.Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions.Coordinate with the trades and project management team for various engineering and design requirements of the project.Advise the project team on the various technical issues as a result of project execution as regards to class and standard engineering practice, more specifically on clash checks.Liaisons with the client, class and third party on engineering requirements.Monitoring the progress of the project engineering deliverables, participate in coordinating activities in the field, optimize and fine-tune where necessary in support of the project management.Taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management.Maintain and update the project engineering document register, schedule, execution plan, manpower histograms, progress charts.Maintain separate records of sample drawings issued by clients for easy reference.Supervise, maintain and update the yard engineering deliverables list and schedule.Submission of engineering status reports for weekly and monthly progress meetings.Ensure the timely receipt of client engineering details so as not to hamper smooth construction and highlight the requirement of critical documents in advance.Support bidding projects.EducationBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or other relevant Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized university.A relevant professional engineering certification or project management qualification would be an added advantage.Experience10+ years relevant experience in a reputed engineering company (EPC scope)Experience with performing FEED design, FEED Verification & Detail Engineering.Experience in Loadout, T&I, SPMT, Sea-transportation Pile driving, Soil investigation for Topsides/Jackets.Key CompetenciesBroad Engineering knowledge in Marine / offshore construction / New Technologies in EPC scope.Familiarity with project management systems, applicable international engineering codes and standards, and project specifications.Experience with risk management, change management, interface management, planning and cost control systems.Strong project/contract management, communication, reporting and leadership skillsProject management and planning skills.Proven ability to manage project team in a major project environment.
