Senior Project Manager

About FanRuanFanRuan is a leading enterprise software company specializing in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, data integration, and digital transformation solutions.As we continue to expand our presence in the Middle East, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of BI, data analytics, data platform, and enterprise digitalization projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.Role OverviewThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle, from project initiation and requirements clarification to implementation, user acceptance testing, go-live, handover, and final acceptance.The successful candidate should have strong experience working with customers in Saudi Arabia or the GCC and a solid understanding of enterprise software, business intelligence, data analytics, data warehouse, or digital transformation projects.This is not only a project coordination role. The candidate should be able to understand customer business requirements, communicate with business and technical stakeholders, identify delivery risks, and drive projects toward successful completion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage BI, data analytics, reporting, data integration, and digital transformation projects from initiation to final acceptance.Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, milestones, resource plans, risk registers, and project status reports.Coordinate customer stakeholders, internal consultants, technical teams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.Facilitate requirement clarification workshops and ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into project scope and deliverables.Monitor project scope, schedule, quality, resources, dependencies, and commercial commitments.Identify project risks, issues, and delays and drive the relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.Manage customer expectations and maintain clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate solution design, data preparation, system configuration, development, testing, training, deployment, and handover activities.Manage UAT, issue tracking, change requests, project documentation, customer sign-off, and final project acceptance.Support presales and solution teams during project scoping, effort estimation, implementation planning, and customer presentations.Establish project governance mechanisms, including regular project meetings, progress reports, escalation procedures, and decision tracking.Ensure that all project deliverables meet agreed quality standards and customer requirements.Capture project experience, reusable templates, risks, and lessons learned to improve future project delivery.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 5 years of project management or project delivery experience.At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Business IntelligenceData AnalyticsEnterprise ReportingData WarehouseData Integration or ETLEnterprise SoftwareDigital TransformationData Management PlatformsProven experience delivering projects in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries.Strong understanding of the local business environment and customer communication practices in the Middle East.Experience managing enterprise customers, government organizations, large private-sector companies, or system integration projects.Ability to communicate with both business users and technical teams.Strong project planning, documentation, stakeholder management, risk management, and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of project delivery stages, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, training, deployment, and acceptance.Professional proficiency in English.Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia and the GCC when required.Preferred QualificationsArabic language capability.PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.Experience with BI platforms such as FanRuan, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar solutions.Experience with data integration, ETL, SQL databases, data warehouses, or data governance projects.Experience working for an enterprise software vendor, consulting company, or system integrator.Experience managing local implementation partners and subcontractors.Experience in industries such as government, utilities, manufacturing, finance, telecommunications, construction, transportation, or smart cities.Chinese language capability or experience working with international and multicultural teams.Key CompetenciesStrong ownership and accountabilityCustomer-oriented mindsetStructured project management approachExcellent stakeholder communicationAbility to work under pressureStrong risk awarenessCross-cultural communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesBusiness understanding combined with technical awarenessResults-driven and proactive working styleWhat We OfferThe opportunity to support FanRuan’s growth in the Middle East market.Exposure to major enterprise and government digital transformation projects.An international and multicultural working environment.Opportunities to work across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.Professional development in business intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise digitalization.ApplicationPlease submit your CV through LinkedIn.In your application, please highlight:Your project delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.The BI, data analytics, data warehouse, enterprise software, or digital transformation projects you have managed.The industries and types of customers you have worked with.Your English and Arabic language capabilities.Your current location and availability to work in Riyadh.
