Apply & track with Apply EdgeSenior Project Manager – Hospitality / HotelsLocation: Dubai, UAESector: Hospitality / HotelsCompany Type: Project Management Consultancy (PMC)The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading Project Management Consultancy in Dubai, taking a key role in the delivery of high-profile hospitality and hotel developments across the UAE.The successful candidate will have a strong background delivering luxury hotels, resorts and hospitality-led developments, ideally from a PMC, project management consultancy or client-side environment.You will be responsible for managing projects through the full development lifecycle, coordinating consultants, contractors, operators and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the required standards of quality, programme and commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of major hospitality and hotel projects from design and pre-construction through construction, fit-out, handover and close-out.Act as a key point of contact for the client, providing clear project leadership, reporting and strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle.Manage and coordinate architects, designers, engineers, cost consultants, contractors and specialist subcontractors.Work closely with hotel operators, developers and brand representatives to ensure operator and brand requirements are incorporated into the project.Manage project programmes, key milestones, budgets, risks and overall delivery strategy.Lead design coordination and ensure alignment between architectural, structural, MEP, interior design and operational requirements.Oversee procurement, tendering and contractor appointment processes alongside the commercial team.Monitor contractor performance, construction progress and quality against agreed project requirements.Chair client, consultant and contractor meetings and ensure actions are effectively managed and closed out.Identify project risks, delays and potential issues early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.Manage stakeholder interfaces including developers, operators, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, handover and project close-out.Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, company procedures and UAE regulations.Candidate RequirementsDegree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related discipline.Approximately 10+ years' experience within construction and project management.Strong experience delivering hotels, luxury hospitality, resorts or similar high-end developments.Previous experience working for a PMC, project management consultancy or client-side organisation is strongly preferred.Proven experience managing projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages.Strong understanding of hotel design, construction, fit-out and operational requirements.Experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and specialist hospitality consultants.Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.Commercially aware with a good understanding of contracts, procurement, programme and risk management.Excellent communication, leadership and reporting skills.Previous UAE or GCC project experience is highly advantageous.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience delivering 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, branded residences, mixed-use hospitality developments or major hotel refurbishments will be particularly relevant.Experience working with internationally recognised hotel operators and luxury hospitality brands would also be advantageous.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join an established PMC delivering significant hospitality developments across Dubai and the wider UAE.The position offers the opportunity to work directly with major developers, hotel operators and international consultants while taking ownership of complex, high-profile projects from development through to final handover.
