Location: DublinOnsite: Hybrid, with one day onsite, including client visitsRole Overview:GemPool is hiring on behalf of a client within the creative agency space for a Principal / Senior Project Manager who is passionate about delivering engaging digital experiences.

You’ll work closely with client stakeholders to define business requirements, support project and product goals, and deliver successful outcomes using Agile methodologies. Working alongside designers, developers and wider cross-functional teams, you’ll help deliver digital experiences that are effective, engaging and built around the needs of the user.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with client stakeholders to understand and define business requirements and objectivesManage the end-to-end delivery of digital projects and innovative virtual experiences in line with the client’s visionSupport target setting and OKRs with the clientManage a dedicated team of designers and developers alongside non-dedicated resourcesPlan and manage projects using Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Scrum-ban and KanbanFacilitate Agile ceremonies and project activities, including daily meetings, demos, feature release planning and story mappingLead design-led Discovery phases to help define project scopeCoordinate between client business and technical stakeholders to ensure clear and effective project deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional teams across Design, Business Analysis, Development, QA and Content to deliver the best outcomes and user experiencesManage project planning, estimation, task management and resource mappingSupport capacity planning and utilisation across multiple projects and productsManage monthly billing and contribute to studio planningIdentify project risks and plan solutions to address future obstacles in a timely mannerBring team ideas and opportunities to the client and present recommendationsWork within a multi-vendor environment involving clients and third-party agenciesPromote effective project processes and core design and technical governance strategies

Required Skills

5 years’ experience with a relevant project or product qualification/certification3rd level Product Owner or Scrum qualification with 3 years’ experienceExperience taking part in or leading digital project delivery from end to endStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and ScrumExperience working with a hybrid Waterfall/Agile approach where requiredExperience using Jira for team scheduling and task managementExperience working with digital platform processes from end to endStrong stakeholder management and relationship-management skills, ideally within a client services environmentStrong analysis, problem-solving, judgement and decision-making skillsStrong analytical thinking and technical awarenessGood understanding of the web and digital industry, processes and techniquesExperience collaborating with and managing cross-functional teamsStrong project planning, estimation, task management, resource mapping, capacity planning and utilisation skillsExperience leading collaborative workshops from a design or technical perspectiveHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, products and client communications simultaneouslyComfortable taking a hands-on and collaborative approachNice to Have:Experience or familiarity with UX and design systemsExperience with FigmaExperience or familiarity with Kentico CMS or another CMS platformExperience with collaboration tools such as Miro and Slack
