Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – MEP to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will have significant experience delivering MEP projects within Data Centre environments, with a strong understanding of complex, high-specification construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage project activities in line with established project objectives, including the preparation of project plans, programmes, schedules and reporting requirements.Take responsibility for the successful delivery of small-scale projects and support the delivery of medium- and large-scale projects, reporting to the Project Lead.Identify project risks, issues and opportunities, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.Assist with the preparation, management and monitoring of project programmes and key milestones.Prepare and manage project management scope deliverables in accordance with client requirements.Manage change control processes, ensuring changes are appropriately assessed, documented and communicated.Manage and monitor project processes, procedures and governance requirements.Establish and maintain effective working relationships across all project stakeholders and delivery teams.Coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and other project parties.Ensure the timely and accurate collection, analysis and reporting of project data, performance information and key metrics.Apply technical knowledge and industry experience to support the effective management and coordination of project consultants and contractors.Support the Project Lead in managing project requirements, priorities and key deliverables.Provide construction management support on site, ensuring works are progressing in accordance with the approved programme, quality standards and project requirements.Promote a collaborative approach across project teams, supporting effective communication, coordination and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.Skills, Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Building Services or a related discipline.Significant experience in project management and MEP delivery, preferably within complex Data Centre construction projects.Proven experience delivering built-asset projects from design through construction and completion.Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes and project delivery within technically complex environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders.Proven ability to establish and manage relationships with external stakeholders and project delivery teams.Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project and organisational objectives.A logical and structured approach, with the ability to analyse and resolve complex project issues.Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate and monitor multiple aspects of a project.Strong collaboration, leadership and teamwork skills.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a strong focus on delivering to programme and agreed objectives.Proficiency in relevant project management software, reporting tools and project information systems.Experience working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.DesirablePrevious experience working on mission-critical Data Centre projects.Experience working within the UAE or wider Middle East region.Relevant professional or project management qualifications such as PMP, APM, RICS or equivalent.Our corporate valuesAt Currie & Brown, we know that when it comes to a good idea, it doesn't matter where it comes from.
