work package within a flagship offshore project.Alias Executive Search & Consulting, an Italian executive search firm with an international network across EMEA, LATAM and North America, has been retained to manage this search on a confidential basis.The companyOur client delivers complex offshore and onshore energy projects on an EPC/EPCIC basis, with operations across multiple countries.The company is currently:executing a major offshore mega-project as consortium leader for an Energy Major;strengthening its international project delivery capabilities;expanding beyond traditional upstream activities into midstream and carbon capture.The organisation operates with a deliberately leaner structure than a traditional EPC contractor.For a Project Manager, this means:short decision-making lines;direct access to the Client and executive management;high visibility across the organisation;genuine ownership and accountability for project results.The roleReporting directly to the Director of Projects, the Senior Project Manager will assume full accountability for assigned EPC/EPCIC work packages, from contract award through:Engineering;Procurement;Construction;Offshore installation;Commissioning;Handover.The role combines project delivery, commercial responsibility, client management and multidisciplinary leadership.Project delivery & executionYou will:lead integrated project delivery across all phases, ensuring alignment with HSE, quality, schedule and cost targets;define the project execution strategy and coordinate the interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation;establish and continuously monitor project controls, KPIs, milestones and critical paths;identify deviations early and implement the necessary corrective and recovery actions;manage project risks and opportunities throughout the full project lifecycle.Organisation & leadershipYou will have the authority to shape your own project organisation, defining the appropriate structure and resources across functions including:Engineering;Contracts;Planning;Cost Control;Quality Assurance;HSE;Logistics;Construction;Interface Management.You will also:lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary and multicultural project team;establish clear accountability across the project organisation;drive collaboration between internal functions, partners, subcontractors and external stakeholders.Client & stakeholder managementYou will act as the primary management representative towards:the Client;consortium and joint-venture partners;contractors and subcontractors;regulatory and relevant external authorities.The role requires the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments while maintaining a strong focus on project objectives and contractual commitments.Commercial & financial accountabilityThe Senior Project Manager will own the commercial performance of the assigned work package, including:contract administration;variations and change orders;claims and contractual negotiations;cost performance;forecasting;cash flow;project profitability.You will work closely with the Director of Projects and Finance function to ensure alignment between operational delivery and financial performance.HSE & qualityYou will set the standard for:Health, Safety and Environment;process safety;offshore safety requirements;quality performance;compliance throughout all project activities.You will ensure that HSE and quality considerations remain embedded in every major project decision.Executive reportingYou will provide clear and concise reporting on:overall project status;schedule and cost performance;commercial exposure;key risks and opportunities;critical decisions requiring escalation.Reporting will be directed to the Project Director and executive management, giving the role significant organisational visibility.What you bringThe ideal candidate will have:Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline;at least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas and Energy;substantial experience delivering large-scale EPC and EPCIC projects;a proven track record on complex offshore projects, from award through final handover;direct offshore execution experience, which is considered essential;strong knowledge of:project controls;cost management;planning and scheduling;contract administration;claims and change management;risk and opportunity management;strong commercial awareness, with the ability to take accountability for margin, cash flow and profitability, not only schedule and technical delivery;thorough knowledge of HSE management systems and offshore safety requirements;experience leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in international environments;experience working within consortium, joint-venture or multi-partner project structures;fluent English, both written and spoken.Experience with enterprise project management and ERP systems will be considered an advantage.Particularly relevant experienceThe following backgrounds will be especially valuable:deep-water offshore projects;FPSO projects;complex subsea or offshore installation programmes;major international EPC/EPCIC contracts;direct exposure to Energy Major clients;high-value work packages with significant contractual and commercial complexity.Beyond technical
