Senior Project Manager - Residential

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale and technically complex AV and integrated technology projects.You will take responsibility for multiple projects or major individual programmes, overseeing technical delivery, commercial performance, resources and client relationships from design development through to completion.This is a senior position requiring strong technical knowledge alongside the confidence to lead meetings, manage project teams and work directly with clients, consultants, designers and main contractors.Salary: Up to £75,000 + Company BenefitsKey Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial planning through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and internal technical teams.
• Coordinate engineers and third-party contractors to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Manage project programmes, milestones and installation schedules.
• Attend and lead project meetings both on site and remotely.
• Review project designs and provide technical input throughout delivery.
• Coordinate technical drawings and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Support equipment rack design alongside engineering teams.
• Manage equipment procurement and ensure products are ordered in line with programme and budget requirements.
• Check that specified equipment is appropriate for the intended application.
• Forecast engineering and labour requirements across projects.
• Manage project budgets, variations, quotations and invoicing.
• Identify potential commercial or programme risks and take appropriate action.
• Ensure relevant health & safety documentation and site requirements are in place.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and recommend alternative solutions where appropriate.
• Coordinate project teams and maintain positive working relationships across all stakeholders.
• Oversee final testing, documentation and client handover.
• Provide feedback on products, systems and technical solutions to support continuous improvement.Experience & SkillsThe successful candidate should have:
• Previous project management experience within AV, smart home, integrated technology or a closely related technical environment.
• Strong understanding of AV systems and how different technologies integrate.
• Knowledge of control and lighting platforms such as Crestron, Savant and Lutron.
• Experience with cinema and surround sound systems.
• Ability to read, understand and contribute to technical drawings and schematics.
• Good electrical and networking awareness.
• Previous hands-on technical or engineering experience would be highly beneficial.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.Out-of-Hours SupportThe role will participate in an occasional out-of-hours support rota, providing initial assistance and coordinating engineering support where required.
