Senior Project Manager/Senior Resident Engineer

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time (Site Based)Working Hours 48 hours per week 6 working daysKhatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious large-scale Infrastructure & Building Development Project in Abu Dhabi.This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive consultant supervision experience in residential community developments, including villas and infrastructure works. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholders, ensuring contractual compliance, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and villa development projects.Manage all project phases from construction through to handover.Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Abu Dhabi authorities.Oversee roads, utilities, wet and dry services, and associated infrastructure works.Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions.Monitor project progress, cost, quality, safety, and risk management.Lead multidisciplinary site teams and provide strategic project leadership.Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications.Prepare executive reports and present project updates to senior stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineering certification is preferred.Experience Required:Minimum 25 years of relevant professional experience.Minimum 10 years of UAE experience or experience on comparable large-scale international projects.Proven consultant supervision experience on major residential community developments.Strong experience managing infrastructure works, including: Roads, Utilities, Wet & Dry ServicesExtensive experience in villa development projects.Previous involvement in multi-billion AED projects.Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority regulations and stakeholder management.Key Skills:Project Leadership & DeliveryInfrastructure & Building Project ManagementContract Administration (FIDIC)Construction ManagementStakeholder & Authority CoordinationRisk ManagementProgramme & Schedule ManagementTeam LeadershipQuality & HSE CompliancePreference will be given to:Candidates currently based in the UAE.Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods.
