Senior Project Manager📍 West Loop, Chicago, IL🏗️ Family-Owned General Contractor | Ground-Up Construction | Local Chicagoland ProjectsWe're partnered with a long-standing, family-owned Chicago General Contractor that's looking to add a Senior Project Manager to its growing ground-up team.With almost a century in business, this contractor has built an outstanding reputation throughout the Chicago construction market through quality work, long-standing client relationships, and a commitment to its people. They're currently experiencing one of the strongest growth periods in company history, a substantial backlog of secured work, and plenty more in the pipeline.This role will focus heavily on ground-up construction throughout the Greater Chicagoland area, with a diverse portfolio spanning multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, hotel, and other commercial projects. You'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful projects without being pigeonholed into one market and no travel required.What You'll Be Doing:Lead ground-up projects from preconstruction through final turnoverTake ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performanceManage and mentor Project Managers, APMs, Project Engineers, and project teamsPartner closely with Superintendents to drive successful project executionManage relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partnersOversee procurement, change orders, forecasting, and project reportingEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budgetWhat They're Looking For:Senior Project Manager experience with a General ContractorStrong ground-up construction experience requiredExperience successfully managing $10M+ commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and procurementProven ability to lead project teams and maintain strong client relationshipsSomeone looking for a long-term home with an established Chicago contractor that's continuing to growCompensation & Benefits:💰 Base salary up to $180K + bonus🌴 20 days PTO📈 5% company 401(k) match💪 $50/month wellness stipend🎉 11 paid holidays plus floating holidays☀️ Summer Fridays🏥 Comprehensive benefits package📍 100% Chicagoland projects — no travel required🚀 Strong backlog of secured ground-up work with continued growth ahead🏗️ Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio rather than being tied to one project typeIf you're a Senior Project Manager with strong ground-up experience looking for local projects, long-term stability, and the opportunity to join a respected Chicago GC during a major period of growth, I'd love to tell you more.
