Located in the historic Trinity Building in the Financial District, our practice offers a warm, connected home for dedicated clinicians.The Role: Senior Associate TherapistWe are seeking an experienced, fully licensed clinician (LCSW or LMHC) to join our team as a Senior Associate Therapist. This is a core clinical and leadership role for a seasoned therapist who excels at providing high-touch, out-of-network clinical care while actively contributing to our practice's clinical developmentAs a Senior Associate Therapist, you will maintain a robust, mature client caseload while serving as an integral mentor and educator within our 4-Prong Supervision and Senior Peer Mentor programs. You will help teach, guide, and shape the next generation of therapists (our Fellows) through case conceptualization, skill-sharing, and peer-level guidance.Core Functional Responsibilities1. Direct Clinical PracticeProvide high-quality, evidence-based individual, couples, or group psychotherapy to a full caseload of out-of-network clients.Demonstrate exceptional clinical case conceptualization, assessment, and treatment planning grounded in Socratic and experiential learning.Maintain prompt, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation, compliance, and risk management standards.Utilize data-driven, proven best practices to foster strong client engagement and retention.2. Fellow Training, Mentorship & TeachingSenior Peer Mentoring: Serve as a direct mentor to junior clinicians and Fellows, offering peer-level guidance, onboarding support, and practical insights into private practice growth.Clinical Skill-Sharing & Group Supervision: Lead or co-facilitate group supervision sessions, case presentations, and didactic trainings for Fellows.4-Prong Model Collaboration: Partner with the Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director to support our comprehensive 4-Prong Supervision structure (Individual, Group, Administrative, and Peer Mentorship).Model excellence in clinical writing, media pitching, clinical blogging, and case presentations.Candidate Profile & QualificationsCore RequirementsLicensure: Active New York State full clinical license required: LCSW or LMHC (commutable residency required).Experience: Demonstrated track record of clinical excellence in a private practice, clinic, or agency setting.Mindset: An entrepreneurial drive, an innovative mindset, and deep intentionality in clinical work. Proactive problem solver with an affinity for the "how" and "why" of practice management and therapy.Organization & Communication: Highly organized, efficient, proactive, and prompt; procrastination is a non-starter. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Culture Fit: A positive, nimble mindset that thrives in a warm, collaborative, in-person team environment.Preferred Qualifications (A+)Advanced certifications or specialized training in modalities such as:Gottman Method or Imago Relationship Therapy CertificationGroup Therapy CertificationEMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), or Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)CBT, DBT, or REBT CertificationsPrior experience supervising, mentoring, or teaching pre-licensed clinicians or postgraduate fellows.Adult Learning Certifications and Program Development CertificationsLocation & EnvironmentOffice Location: Private office in the historic, landmarked Trinity Building in Lower Manhattan (Financial District), conveniently accessible from Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Hoboken.In-Person Culture: Collaborative in-office clinician culture complete with an integrated Emotional Support Dog practice environment.Compensation & BenefitsHealthcare (W-2 Status): Eligible for full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus Health Savings Account (HSA).
