We work with government, civil society and private sector stakeholders to support solutions to India’s social and economic challenges.About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Public Policy Associate to work across policy research, government engagement, stakeholder management and strategic communication. The role will involve working closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to support policy initiatives and deliver high-quality research and communication outputs.Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse policy, regulatory and legislative developments
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, presentations and background notes
• Track key government policies, programmes and regulatory developments
• Engage and coordinate with government officials and other stakeholders
• Support consultations, roundtables, workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Build and maintain stakeholder databases and institutional relationships
• Support advocacy and public policy strategies
• Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of outputsWhat we’re looking for
• 5+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, public affairs, government consulting or a related field
• Strong understanding of Indian policymaking and government processes
• Experience working with government or public sector stakeholders
• Strong research, analytical, writing and communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex policy issues and develop clear recommendations
• Experience creating policy documents, presentations and stakeholder communications
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Law or a related field is preferredWhy join Impact Bharat?
