We don't take ourselves too seriously.Role descriptionThis is the senior client-facing PR role at Halo. You'll own the PR strategy across our client book, run the press office, and write and pitch to national and international print and broadcast.We are after the best writer and the sharpest media brain, with your hands on the work every day.You'll report to the CEO and sit alongside our Head of Digital and Operations. Between you, you'll hold the PR that leaves the building.What you'll do:Own PR strategy for our clients as part of their wider comms strategyRun the press office: announcements, reactive comment and a close eye on the news cycleWrite press releases, thought leadership, comment and briefing notesBuild journalist relationships across space, AI, defence, science, tech and climate and health Prepare and brief spokespeople and handle embargoed and sensitive comms with careSupport our account managers and set the standard on every accountSpot where accounts should grow, contribute to new business, and help shape what we build with AI nextHybrid, full-time. Up to three days a week in our Newquay office (or full-time there if you'd prefer). Occasional UK and international travel. You don't need a physics degree, just the urge to understand it
