Apply & track with Apply EdgeSr. Beauty PR Manager (Agency)Employment Type: Full-Time / hybrid 4 days/week in officeAbout the RoleOur client, a leading communications agency serving the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle industries, is seeking a strategic and highly organized Sr. PR Manager to join its team in New York or Los Angeles. This hybrid role will lead integrated public relations, influencer, talent, and experiential programs for a portfolio of consumer brands.The ideal candidate brings strong media instincts, established industry relationships, and a demonstrated ability to turn brand objectives into thoughtful, measurable communications strategies. You will partner closely with senior leadership, guide junior team members, and oversee day-to-day execution across earned media, influencer partnerships, product launches, events, and cultural moments.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute integrated PR strategies spanning earned media, influencer marketing, talent relations, and experiential activations.Build and maintain relationships with editors, creators, talent representatives, industry experts, and other key tastemakers.Lead outreach efforts to secure meaningful editorial coverage, social visibility, product placements, and partnership opportunities.Manage influencer and talent programs from briefing and outreach through negotiation, contracting, content review, invoicing, and reporting.Support the planning and execution of launches, events, press previews, creator mailers, seeding initiatives, and brand activations.Create and refine client-facing materials, including press releases, pitches, briefing documents, fact sheets, agendas, recaps, and reports.Monitor media, cultural, social, and consumer trends to identify timely opportunities and provide informed recommendations.Oversee account workflows, timelines, target lists, weekly status documents, and monthly reporting to ensure high-quality delivery.Manage and mentor Managers, Junior Managers, and Coordinators; provide coaching, feedback, and support for professional development.Partner with senior leaders to maintain strong client relationships, anticipate needs, and contribute to account growth.Assist with staffing and logistical coordination for virtual and in-person events as needed.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.5–7 years of public relations and influencer marketing experience, ideally within an agency or consumer-brand environment.Experience managing both organic and paid influencer programs.Strong knowledge of the beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, and pop-culture media landscape.Established relationships with media, creators, talent, and industry contacts.Confidence managing campaign negotiations, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and client communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects while maintaining close attention to detail.A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to team leadership.Proficiency with Google Workspace and relevant influencer or media measurement platforms.This is a hybrid position based in either New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA.
