This role is responsible for designing and executing strategic PR campaigns, managing media outreach, and shaping brand narratives across traditional and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases and communication materials, preparing spokespersons for interviews, coordinating with media and influencers, and monitoring coverage to ensure consistency with brand objectives. The person in this role will lead client communication, provide strategic counsel on reputation and crisis management, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver integrated campaigns. They will also mentor junior team members, manage timelines and deliverables, and contribute to business development initiatives when required.QualificationsStrong public relations and strategic communications skills, with experience in developing and executing PR strategies.Proven expertise in media relations and press releases, including cultivating relationships with journalists and industry publications.Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear, persuasive messaging for varied audiences.Demonstrated experience in reputation management, crisis communication, and issues management in fast-paced environments.Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience managing client accounts in sectors such as BFSI, tech, startups, or hospitality is highly desirable.Strong organizational and project management skills, with capacity to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.5+ years of progressively responsible experience in PR or communications, preferably in an agency setting.
