Senior Purchase Officer

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and implement EHS standards and initiatives in line with Group requirements.Lead commercial and price negotiations for raw materials, packaging materials, services, and contracts.Manage procurement activities to achieve cost savings and favorable Purchase Price Variance (PPV).Develop and qualify alternative suppliers to reduce risk and avoid single-source dependency.Ensure effective material planning and inventory control to maintain service levels within approved budgets.Build and maintain long-term relationships with local and international suppliers.Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, from requisition to supplier confirmation and delivery follow-up.Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and compliance standards.Coordinate supplier complaint investigations and communicate findings with technical and product management teams.Review and validate contracts and agreements to ensure commercial and legal compliance.Prepare procurement reports, savings analyses, price variance reports, and procurement heat maps.Resolve supply disruptions and delivery challenges in a timely and effective manner.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor development, inventory management, and material planning.Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results.Experience in supplier performance management and logistics tracking systems will be an advantage.Demonstrated leadership capability with a collaborative and proactive mindset.Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
