It's a supportive, down-to-earth environment where people are valued, and there are excellent opportunities for career progression.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional looking to join a great business and build a long-term career.The OpportunityReporting to the NSW Purchasing Manager, you will join an experienced team and take responsibility for a broad range of purchasing, inventory and supplier management activities.Your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end purchasing, purchase orders and stock replenishment.Monitoring inventory levels, sales demand and supplier lead times.Building strong supplier relationships, reviewing pricing and resolving supply issues.Supporting inventory forecasting, planning and customer projects.Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier information within the ERP system.Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and identify opportunities for improvement.About YouWe are looking for someone with a strong purchasing background who enjoys working in a busy commercial environment and is keen to take on more responsibility.Ideally, you will have:Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management within wholesale distribution, FMCG, hospitality supplies or a similar environment. Other industries will be considered.A good understanding of stock replenishment, inventory planning and supplier management.Experience with ERP systems, ideally Pronto, and good Excel skills.Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.A proactive, positive approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.Why Join?This is an opportunity to join an established and growing Australian-owned business that genuinely looks after its people.
