Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!Experience: 6-8 years.Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from OfficeYour Profile & DNA:We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Software Engineer with strong expertise in software engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern development methodologies.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions using Python, while applying best practices in software design, automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using PythonBuild and optimize CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and Azure Release PipelinesDevelop and support cloud-based solutions and containerized applicationsApply clean coding practices, OOP principles, and software engineering best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional Agile and DevOps teamsDrive technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesLeverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code qualityQualification & ExperienceA Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.8+ years of software engineering experience3–5 years of hands-on Python development experienceStrong knowledge of Python, OOP, inheritance, and clean code practicesHands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Release PipelinesExperience with Docker and GitUnderstanding of cloud fundamentalsExperience working in Agile and DevOps environmentsAbility to evaluate and apply AI-generated solutions securely and effectivelyWhat do we offer?If your profile matches the job requirement and you are interested to be presented to our clients, then please apply and don’t forget to attach your updated CV in line with the JD!This position is for 1 year with possibility of extension.
