Senior QA/QC Manager – Ultra-Luxury Fit-OutOur client is looking for a Senior QA/QC Manager with strong experience in high-end, ultra-luxury fit-out projects. The role is for an ultra-luxury hospitality project in Dubai, and reports to the Company QAQC Manager.Position overview: To coordinate the company's quality activities on site and be responsible for the site quality management system.Essential experience: ultra-luxury fit-outA strong fit-out background within the ultra-luxury sector is essential for this role.A proven track record working on very high-end luxury hospitality or similarly prestigious projectsExperience with the demanding quality standards, finishes, materials and execution associated with ultra-luxury environmentsA strong fit-out background, rather than a general construction backgroundCore job functionsTo manage the QAQC Department on the projectTo monitor and implement the company QAQC policy on siteTo assess subcontractors against the QAQC policy, ensuring the company works with the best approved fit-out contractorsUsing the QAQC team, prepare QAQC reports for presentation to the Management and Consultant Teams, ensuring the logs and graphs are accurateEnsure all QAQC test and inspection results are reviewed, logged and corrective action put in place where necessary, specifically reporting unauthorised deviations from approved materials, finishes and samplesTo arrange QAQC schedules and meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are involved and notes and actions are takenTo supervise the monitoring of quality on site and the reporting and managing of non-conformancesTo oversee the materials submittal register for the projectTo oversee the QAQC documentation, ensuring it is logged and filed accordinglyAdminister QAQC training to both QAQC and fit-out site staffPlan and administer a quality assurance programme that ensures execution is consistent with the adopted and established ultra-luxury quality standardsDevelop and establish standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, and ensure they are followedSupervise and oversee the analysis, inspection, design and testing, to ensure the highest standards of qualityEnsure the quality of material received at site is as per the required specifications and quality norms, to avoid the use of substandard material, coordinating with the procurement departmentArrange testing with qualified QA/QC supervisors or a third-party testing laboratory to the project requirementsSet and oversee the implementation of a testing and inspection schedule, ensuring compliance with the set dates and proceduresSupervise and coordinate the quality auditing efforts to ensure compliance with adopted standardsInspect and check the executed works and finishes to ensure the qualityMaintain the Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual, and ensure all employees are aware of the criticality of quality and the adopted standardsAttend project kick-off meetings and pre-production supplier meetings, where applicableSupervise the QA/QC Engineers, providing assistance and guidance as requiredAllocate qualified Quality Control personnel to the various areas of site activityRequirementsB. Eng degree or equivalent10 years as an engineer in a fit-out environment, including significant time in the QA/QC department in a senior positionProven ultra-luxury fit-out experience on very high-end hospitality or similarly prestigious projectsOther skills and abilitiesQA/QC accreditation with a professional bodyProficiency in financial skills, data analysis and reporting skillsKnowledge of MS Office
