Senior QE / Automation Tester

Senior QE / Automation TesterTCS is seeking a Senior QE / Automation Tester to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment where technology and business come together to create meaningful impact. This role plays a key part in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions that drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business value.The ideal candidate is a technically strong and detail-oriented professional with experience in machine learning, large language models, and data-driven systems, capable of solving complex problems and collaborating effectively within cross-functional, global teams in a dynamic, multi-initiative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices.Create unit, integration, contract, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.Build automated API testing solutions and validate Azure-based microservice integrations.Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines.Establish quality gates, reporting, code-coverage, and release-readiness controls.Design and execute load, performance, scalability, resiliency, and recovery testing.Develop test-data management, environment-validation, and reusable automation utilities.Validate Terraform infrastructure changes and Azure or Kubernetes deployments.Coach developers on modern quality-engineering practices and shift-left testing.Use observability platforms to validate production health and support root-cause analysis.Participate in on-call support for platform stability and quality-related incidents.Technical Requirements & Expertise4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Automation, or DevOps.Expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, NUnit, or xUnit.Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Python automation.Experience testing Azure applications, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.Strong REST API and event-driven architecture testing experience.Knowledge of Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and contract testing.Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, and data validation.Experience with qTest, Tricentis Tosca, Apache JMeter, quality dashboards, and automated reporting.Security testing, DevSecOps, Splunk, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and modern TestOps experience are preferred.Other Considerations:Tata Consultancy Services is an equal opportunity employer.
