Team members collaborate on innovative projects that translate research into actionable strategies for brands and organizationsRole Description The Qualitative Researcher will work full time on-site at the Purple Audacity office in Delhi, contributing to end-to-end research projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing qualitative research frameworks, developing discussion guides, and conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, and ethnographic studies. The role involves interpreting findings through cultural, behavioral, and semiotic lenses, synthesizing insights, and preparing clear, compelling reports and presentations for clients. The Qualitative Researcher will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in client workshops, and support the integration of qualitative insights with quantitative data and strategic recommendations. The position also requires proactive project management, timely documentation, and adherence to ethical research standards.QualificationsStrong qualitative research skills, including designing studies, moderating interviews and focus groups, and conducting ethnographic or observational research.Ability to apply frameworks from cultural anthropology, behavioral sciences, and semiotics to interpret data and generate deep insights.Experience with insight generation, strategy development, and using design thinking or future foresight methods to inform client decision-making.Proficiency in synthesizing complex information into clear narratives, with strong report writing, presentation, and storytelling abilities.Comfort working with mixed-method projects and collaborating with teams using quantitative and theory-based evaluation techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse participants and stakeholders respectfully and professionally.Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple assignments.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Market Research, Communications, or related disciplines.Prior experience in a research, consulting, or insights role is preferred; familiarity with technology-enabled research tools is an advantage.
