Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (1 year Contract)

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who combines strong manual testing expertise with modern test automation skills to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications. You'll play a key role in shaping quality standards, leading test strategy, and driving automation excellence across development teams.Location: Abu Dhabi (On-site)Duration: 1 Year ContractJob responsibilities include but not limited to:Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks.Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.Validate data integrity through database testing and backend verification.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality.Track and manage defects while communicating risks and quality metrics to stakeholders.Mentor QA team members and promote testing best practices across projects.Candidate requirement:Minimum 5 years of professional QA and software testing experience.Experience leading or owning test strategies on at least 4 successfully delivered projects.Strong expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.Strong SQL skills for database validation and testing.Experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar testing tools.Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD environments.Scripting experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.Experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to generate and accelerate test cases and automation scripts will be an advantage.You'll have the opportunity to lead quality initiatives, influence engineering standards, and work on innovative digital products while collaborating with talented teams committed to excellence.If you're passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional user experiences.Apply now and be part of our growing technology team.
