Our teams collaborate with innovative companies to deliver high-quality technology solutions and measurable business impact through technology.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in UI automation using Playwright and/or Selenium.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Java, experience in API automation, automation framework development, and CI/CD integration. The role requires someone who can develop scalable and maintainable automation solutions, improve test reliability, and work closely with development and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium.Develop automation solutions using TypeScript and/or Java following clean and maintainable coding practices.Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) and modular approaches.Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, and Cucumber/BDD.Perform API automation testing using REST Assured and/or Playwright.Contribute to automation strategy, test coverage, and automation execution across releases.Integrate and optimize automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI.Work with GitLab and/or GitHub for source control and collaboration.Utilize tools such as Maven and SonarQube for build and code quality processes.Work with cloud-based test execution platforms such as Sauce Labs when required.Develop stable and high-performing test scripts while reducing test flakiness.Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve test reliability.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage and overall product quality.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Contribute to shift-left testing and continuous quality improvement.Review requirements and identify suitable opportunities for test automation.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers when required.Explore AI/ML-driven testing approaches and AI tools for test generation and execution.Required Skills & Qualifications3–5 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.Strong working knowledge of TypeScript and/or Java.Experience designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation frameworks.Hands-on experience with Page Object Model (POM) and modular automation frameworks.Experience with TestNG and/or Cucumber/BDD.Proven experience in API automation testing using REST Assured and/or Playwright.Practical experience with GitLab and/or GitHub.Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins or GitLab CI.Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web application architecture.Good understanding of software testing processes, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.What We OfferCompetitive USD salary with performance-based growth opportunities.Remote working environment.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation, AI, and cloud technologies.Exposure to global projects and international clients.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.Inclusive, collaborative, and innovative company culture.
