Senior Quality Manager (Apparel)

Job ResponsibilitiesLead all quality assurance and quality control activities across pre-production and bulk production for apparel categoriesAct as the key interface between factories, vendors, regional teams (HK QC Hub, Merchandising, Compliance), and customersEnsure customer quality standards are clearly communicated and implemented through field training, supervision, and on-site supportMonitor and drive vendor, QC and QA performance through KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement actionsOversee factory audits, technical evaluations, and CAP (Corrective Action Plans) follow-upLead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for bulk issues, customer DC/store rejects, and production risksBuild strong relationships and credibility with customers and key vendors to support business deliveryPartner with merchandising and sourcing teams to influence vendor selection and sourcing strategies from a quality perspectiveDrive lean QC operations, including cost monitoring and team efficiency improvementReview and enhance quality processes, manuals, and SOPs to ensure consistency and complianceAnalyze lab testing results, performance data, and quality reports to identify risks and improvement areasSupport regional and global quality initiatives and transformation projectsJob RequirementsDegree or above in Textiles, Fashion, or related disciplines10+ years of experience in apparel quality, with at least 8 years in a leadership roleStrong experience across woven and knit categories, with proven track record in production, QC, QA, and technical functionsSolid experience working with US/EU brands, retailers, or international sourcing officesDeep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes and factory operations (cutting, sewing, finishing)Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern, fit, and technical standardsFamiliar with factory compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements for US/EU marketsDemonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple factories and vendor bases in Southeast AsiaStrong problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in resolving bulk production and quality issuesEffective communication and stakeholder management skills with both customers and factoriesSelf-driven, well-organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentGood command of written and spoken EnglishWilling to travel within the region as required
