Senior Radiographer / Radiographer

You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations such as ultrasound and other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology. Your role will include supervising student radiographers, leading Quality Improvement projects and coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues. You will also be responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories. Depending on your area of interest and availability of roles, you can specialise in advanced imaging such as Computerised Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography in both inpatient and outpatient settings or assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).RequirementsRecognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic RadiographyRegistered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registrationCandidates with at least 2-3 years in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management experience will have an advantage for cardiac radiographyA team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsCandidates with supervisory experience may be considered for the senior positionEntry-level candidates are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be providedJoin our Careers@SGH Telegram channel to stay updated on the latest job opportunities.
