Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer - Licensing

Salary: Up to £130,000

Location: London, 4 days per week. 1 from home.We're working with a high-growth payments fintech on a newly created role.

This Compliance Officer hire will support their continued expansion across Europe whilst they gear up for Series D funding. The business are looking to launch a new credit product and are gearing up to apply for their banking license.The Role:Product Compliance Advisory – embedding regulatory requirements into new products from design through to launch.International Expansion – advising on regulatory and licensing requirements across new markets.Regulatory Reporting – managing filings and communications with regulators.Policies & Controls – enhancing frameworks, identifying gaps and driving improvements.Regulatory Change – interpreting and implementing new regulatory developmentsExperience needed:Experience working for a scaling financial services business, having supported their license application.Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulation, specifically around credit / business banking products. Experience partnering with business functions on product and regulatory matters.Process improvement mindset and business-enabler.
