Team members join a mission-driven company focused on reshaping agribusiness and promoting sustainable growth.Role Description The Senior Research and Development Formulation Chemist will work on-site in the United Arab Emirates in a full-time capacity, leading the development and optimization of agrochemical and fertilizer formulations. Daily responsibilities include designing and conducting laboratory experiments, evaluating formulation stability and efficacy, and performing analytical testing to ensure products meet performance and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in production, quality, regulatory, and supply chain to scale formulations from lab to manufacturing and to troubleshoot technical issues. The chemist will document experimental results, prepare technical reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the introduction of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions tailored to global agricultural markets. This position also supports customer-focused projects, providing technical input for product customization and field application guidance.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D) capabilities, including experience in formulation design for agrochemicals, fertilizers, or related chemical products.Candidates should possess advanced Laboratory Skills, including handling lab equipment, preparing test samples, conducting formulation trials, and maintaining safe laboratory practices.Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess formulation performance, and solve complex technical challenges in product development.Candidates should possess expertise in Coatings or related application technologies, preferably in protective or functional coatings relevant to agrochemical delivery systems.Candidates should possess solid Quality Control knowledge, including experience with testing protocols, documentation, and adherence to industry and regulatory standards.Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.Experience in agrochemicals, fertilizers, or crop protection formulation, ideally in a senior or lead R&D role.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental considerations in chemical product development.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
