Built on deep experience of an industry-leading scientific team, our client’s platform empowers drug developers to reliably deliver innovative medicines to unlock difficult targets with speed and efficiency.You will join the Antibody Discovery team as a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate. The successful candidate will contribute to efforts for the discovery of monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma and single B cell technologies from our Client's Mice. This role requires operating with minimal supervision to deliver projects against a variety of targets.

Responsibilities

Execute antibody discovery campaigns to generate monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma and/or B-cell technology platformsEvaluate serum titres, process lymphoid mouse tissues, and perform electro-fusions and subcloningScreen and characterize antibodies for binding and functional activity using ELISA, flow cytometry, biochemical and cell-based assays

Qualifications

Research Associate: MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field with 2+ years of industry experience, or BS with 3-5 years of industry experience with strong success track recordSenior Research Associate: MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field with 4+ years of industry experience, or BS with 5+ years of industry experience with strong success track recordHands-on experience with antibody discovery using hybridoma technology and/or single B cell approach is a mustHands-on experience with cell biology including mammalian cell culture, transfection, and running functional cell-based assaysHands-on experience with protein-protein interaction using a variety of methods such as quantitative ELISA and flow cytometryExperience with automation and high-throughput assay development is strongly preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a startup environmentHighly organized and energetic person with excellent attention to details, time management, and communication skillsWhat happens next:Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
