Combined with additional technologies under development, Link will advance a suite of exciting internal therapeutic programs while exploring opportunities for value creation with strategic partners.Job DescriptionLink Cell Therapies is looking for a highly motivated SRA to join our Cell Therapy team and support cell line engineering efforts. Reporting to the Molecular Biology & Cell Line Development Lead, the successful applicant will collaborate effectively with other scientists and be responsible for developing, establishing, and characterizing cell lines to enable the advancement of our company’s pipeline programs. This is an opportunity to join an exciting new company during the discovery phase and to follow our programs throughout research pipeline advancement and into clinical studies.ResponsibilitiesGenerate engineered cell lines via gene-editing strategies, including but not limited to lentiviral gene delivery and CRISPR gene knockoutsOwn end-to-end cell line engineering workflows and troubleshoot cell line engineering processesContribute to the development of strategies for efficient cell line gene-editing, and integrate new methodologies and techniques into the workflowMaintain, propagate and cryopreserve cell linesCollaborate and communicate with other scientists to align on key deliverablesEnsure accurate and organized record-keeping of cell line database, batch records and electronic laboratory notebookPreferred QualificationsExperience: B.S. with 3-5 years or M.S. with 1-3 years of relevant industry experienceDemonstrated proficiency in suspension and adherent aseptic cell culture and BSL-2 biosafety requirementsExperience with cell banking, cell bank inventory management, and quality control methodsHands-on experience with cell line editing techniques, including transfection, transduction, and selectionFamiliarity with single cell cloning isolation and expansion workflowsWorking knowledge of CRISPR design principles, CRISPR electroporation, and knockout validationExperience and knowledge on multi-color flow cytometry, including staining, analysis and fluorescence-activated cell sortingSelf-motivator with a willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies and techniquesExcellent organizational skills, record-keeping and attention to detailThis is a hands-on, lab-based and on-site position based in South San Francisco, CA.The salary range for this position is $109,000-125,000 USD annually.
